The leadership of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has shown once again that education is a top priority. The council, led by Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has employed 10 more qualified teachers to work in public primary schools across the LCDA.
Ekohotblog gathers that this new set of teachers adds to the 70 others already engaged, making it a total of 80 new teachers employed by the council so far. The aim is to improve learning and make sure every child in Eredo LCDA has access to good education.

At the event where the appointment letters were given to the teachers, the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Lateef Adesanya, encouraged the teachers to be serious and dedicated to their work.
“You have been chosen to help build the future of our children. Please take this opportunity seriously and always do your best,” he said.
Hon. Adesanya also thanked the council chairman for investing in education and making the welfare of pupils and teachers a priority.

The Head of the Education Department, Mrs. Adeola Fashola, spoke at the event too. She said, “These new teachers will help reduce the stress on existing teachers and make teaching and learning better in our schools.”

One of the newly employed teachers, Mr. Samuel Oladele, expressed gratitude to the council. “I am very happy to get this job. I will make sure I teach the pupils well and help them succeed,” he said.
This move by Eredo LCDA is part of the council’s effort to support the Lagos State Government’s T.H.E.M.E Plus agenda and to ensure that no child is left behind in education.
