EKO HOT BLOG reports that we seek a detail-oriented and proactive Technical/IT Support Officer to ensure seamless technical operations across our events, equipment, and internal systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering smooth, interactive sports experiences by managing audiovisual setups, event software, hardware troubleshooting, and supporting the team’s digital needs.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Equipment Support:

Set up and manage technical equipment at event venues, including audio systems, visual displays, and interactive gaming stations.

Test and ensure the functionality of all digital and interactive systems before, during, and after events.

Provide real-time troubleshooting to minimize disruptions.

Safely transport, install, and maintain technical gear alongside the logistics team.
IT & Brand Support:

Maintain and update company IT systems including laptops, tablets, Wi-Fi devices, and operational software.

Provide technical assistance to team members for daily tasks such as email access, apps, and website backend support.

Assist in managing the company website and ensuring smooth multimedia integration.

Support the marketing team with livestreams, video uploads, and interactive event content.
Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Proven experience in technical support, audiovisual setups, or IT assistance, preferably in the events or entertainment sector.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure.

Familiarity with multimedia equipment such as projectors, speakers, and streaming tools.

Basic understanding of networking and Wi-Fi configuration.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting live events or interactive exhibitions.

Knowledge of website CMS (e.g., WordPress), basic video editing, or live streaming tools (e.g., OBS).

Familiarity with gaming consoles, tablets, or VR hardware.
Working Conditions

On-site support at event venues with occasional remote assistance.

Requires physical tasks such as lifting and setting up equipment.
