Members of the Epe Corporate Social Support Network Foundation were among the enthusiastic crowd that gathered at the Recreation Centre, Epe, on Tuesday to participate in the All Progressives Congress (APC) mega rally in support of Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun’s re-election campaign.
Ekohotblog reports that the Foundation, renowned for its commitment to humanitarian and grassroots empowerment, joined other support groups and party loyalists to reaffirm their support for the first female Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government as she seeks a second term in office.

Speaking at the rally, the group’s coordinator, Alhaja Aminat Shabi, described Princess Surah as a symbol of selfless leadership and community advancement.
“Princess Surah Animashaun has transformed Epe Local Government with infrastructure, youth programs, and inclusive social initiatives. We are proud to stand with her and support her second-term bid,” he stated.
The APC rally, described as one of the largest political gatherings in the division in recent times, witnessed a massive turnout of residents, stakeholders, youth groups, and traditional leaders.
The atmosphere was electric with party songs, placards, and chants declaring support for the APC candidates across the three councils in Epe Division,Epe LG, Eredo LCDA, and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
Top APC stalwarts in attendance included the party’s Apex Leader in Epe Division, Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (Bamu); Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly;
Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency; Hon. Abiodun Tobun and Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, members of the Lagos State House of Assembly;
Barr. Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye, Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission; and Yeye Olayinka Olusanya, Lagos APC State Vice-Chairman (East).
Each of the leaders took turns to drum up support for APC’s flag bearers in the forthcoming July 12 local government elections.
Rt. Hon. Ikuforiji urged party members to treat the local polls with the urgency of a general election.
“We must all come out and vote for all APC candidates. Surah Animashaun, Monsuru Akinloye, and Wale Raji-Anomo have all made their mark. Let’s give them the opportunity to do more,” he said.
Hon. Wale Raji emphasized the importance of continuity and political alignment.
“Epe has witnessed real development under the APC. There’s no opposition. Let’s continue this winning path,” he noted.
Barr. Oladunjoye and Yeye Olusanya encouraged women and youth to take ownership of the campaign at the grassroots level.
“If you go to their various councils, you’ll see the good work they have done. Re-electing them means doing even more,” Olusanya said.
