Today, the political landscape of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA) witnessed an electrifying display of unity and support as the incumbent Chairman, Hon. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (RBK), led a historic campaign rally through Idotun, Okunraye, Oshoroko, and Lekki, sweeping across both Ward A and Ward B.
Ekohotblog reports that the streets erupted with jubilation as residents trooped out in massive numbers, chanting and singing in solidarity with RBK, whose quiet but profound impact on governance continues to resonate deeply within the grassroots.

Banners, branded campaign materials, and a wave of enthusiasm marked the atmosphere of a people resolute in their belief that “RBK deserves a second term.”
Speaking during the rally, party apex leaders, women coordinators, and youth representatives took turns to highlight RBK’s legacy of transformational projects in infrastructure, education, health, and security.
“Hon. Kasali has redefined leadership in Lekki LCDA. He is not just visible, he is impactful. We stand with him because his works speak louder than empty promises,” said , a respected community elder from Oshoroko.
Also addressing the crowd, A women leader from Idotun, stated: “RBK has empowered our women, renovated our schools, and prioritized healthcare. His humility and accessibility are rare in politics today.”
A youth representative, added: “This turnout is proof that the youth are not just watching, we are participating. RBK has given us reasons to believe in governance again.”
RBK, in his brief remarks, expressed deep gratitude to the people for their support and promised to consolidate on his achievements if re-elected.
“My commitment remains, to serve with integrity, compassion, and vision. Your presence here today strengthens my resolve to do even more,” he said.
