The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) and its Vice Chancellor, Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya, have been jointly recognized by the National Productivity Centre (NPC) for their outstanding contributions to workplace productivity, innovation, and institutional growth.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the honour was conferred during the Workplace Productivity Performance Recognition Retreat held on Thursday, 9th and Friday, 10th October, 2025, in Abuja.
At the ceremony, Professor Odusanya and LASUSTECH received Certificates and Awards of Recognition, presented by Chief (Dr.) O. Charles, President and Project Consultant, and Dr. Babba Dan’Agundi, Director-General of the National Productivity Centre.

Speaking after receiving the award, Professor Odusanya expressed his gratitude to the organizers for acknowledging the university’s efforts.
He said, “This award is a testament to the collective dedication of our staff and students who continue to drive the vision of LASUSTECH as a hub of innovation, productivity, and excellence.”
In their remarks, the organizers lauded LASUSTECH for its remarkable progress in academic and administrative reforms, describing the Vice Chancellor’s leadership as visionary and transformative.
“Professor Odusanya’s strategic reforms have continued to promote efficiency, innovation, and excellence across the institution,” they stated.
