His former media aide, Garba Shehu, announced the news on Sunday via X.
In response to the former president’s passing, President Bola Tinubu has sent Vice President Kashim Shettima to London.
Tinubu instructed Shettima to accompany Buhari’s body back to Nigeria for the burial.
