Notably, former President Goodluck Jonathan was not included as a presidential candidate, despite previous claims by the Tanimu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) regarding his nomination.
The official display at state INEC headquarters across the country also confirmed major changes in key legislative races.
In Delta North Senatorial District, incumbent Senator Ned Nwoko was omitted from the list, with former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa appearing as the official candidate.
Similarly, in Gombe State, former Governor Danjuma Goje lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Gombe Central to retired Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohammed Ahmed. Elsewhere, former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel and Kebbi South Senator Garba Maidoki were among other serving lawmakers excluded from the official roster.
The developments reflect the conclusion of party primary appeals and candidate submission processes.
Although the APC National Working Committee previously reviewed petitions and reinstated six serving senators across nine states, including Sunday Karimi, Emmanuel Udende, and Shuaibu Isa Lau, many other aggrieved aspirants were unable to overturn their primary losses before the final INEC submission window closed.
