In a heartfelt display of empathy and solidarity, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Mr. Muniru Kadiri Alaga, a revered community elder whose legacy left a lasting impact on Eredo LCDA.
Ekohotblog reports that during the visit, Hon. Akinloye described the late Alaga as “a man of honour, wisdom, and selfless dedication”, noting his commitment to the development of the community.

“Eredo LCDA has lost a rare gem,” the chairman said. “His legacy of service will continue to inspire generations to come.”
Hon. Akinloye also reassured the grieving family of the council’s continued support, pledging to empower the late elder’s children.
“We will not forget the family, and we will continue to honour the memory of our father through meaningful support to his children,” he stated.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the widow of the deceased thanked the chairman for his consistent support and compassion.
“Your kindness both before and after my husband’s passing means so much to us,” she said, offering prayers for Hon. Akinloye’s continued strength and success in office.
