A 41-year-old woman, identified as Benita Lurk Ikuenobe, was found dead in a suspected suicide case at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Prayer City along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Friday inside the church’s main auditorium. The Chief Security Officer of the church, Esiere Ekikere, disclosed that he received a distress call at about 7:20 a.m. alerting him to an unconscious woman lying on the auditorium floor.
Upon arriving at the scene, Ekikere found the woman unresponsive, with an empty bottle of a substance believed to be “Sniper,” a toxic insecticide, placed beside her. The discovery immediately raised concerns of a possible suicide.
Police operatives were invited to the location to examine the scene and take photographic evidence. The deceased’s body was later evacuated and deposited at the morgue of Real Divine Hospital for autopsy.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine what may have led to the incident. Individuals close to the deceased are being questioned to provide insight into her mental state and possible motives.

This tragic development has thrown the MFM Prayer City community into shock, with many worshippers expressing grief and confusion over the incident.
