Reacting via her Instagram Story on Sunday, Toyosi expressed sadness and embarrassment for those involved in the scandal.
The mother of three, who is married to Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, wrote that discipline is difficult, and no one is immune to moral challenges.
“We all have the ‘sin’ that so easily ensnares us and staying disciplined is not easy,” she wrote candidly.

Quoting from scripture, Toyosi referenced the line: “Stolen water is sweet,” implying many people have secretly crossed boundaries.
She added that rather than shame the individuals involved, people should show grace and pray for their healing.
“Let’s be compassionate. Let’s pray for them. Let’s extend grace,” she urged.
Toyosi also emphasised the need for people to confront their internal flaws early before they gain influence or become public figures.
According to her, unresolved personal issues can later become public scandals if not dealt with when they’re still ‘little foxes’.
Her post has since sparked conversations online, with many applauding her balanced and faith-based perspective.
Others commended her for using the moment to reflect on self-discipline and the need for grace in today’s judgmental culture.
Toyosi has long been vocal about faith, family, and character-building across her platforms.
She is known for her calm, measured takes on viral controversies and matters of public ethics.
