As part of the vibrant 2025 Kayokayo Festival celebrations, a lively novelty football match between the Stakeholders Club and Royal Bundles Club was held at Abiru Stadium, Epe.
Ekohotblog reports that the thrilling encounter ended in a 1-1 draw, delighting a crowd of supporters who came to witness the spirit of unity and friendly rivalry.
The Stakeholders Club struck first in the opening half with a quick, coordinated attack that saw them take an early lead.
The Royal Bundles Club, however, responded with resilience and equalized in the second half after sustained pressure and teamwork.
Captain of the Stakeholders Club, reflected on the match.
“This novelty match shows how sports can bring people together. Kayokayo is about heritage, togetherness, and progress, and today we demonstrated all of that.”
On the other end,Captain of the Royal Bundles Club, praised the match for its cultural significance.
