In a heartwarming blend of royalty, culture, and education, the 2025 Edition of the Royal Banquet with Olori Arike Adebowale, the Olori Omola of Odomola Kingdom, held at St. John’s Primary School, Odomola, brought joy and inspiration to graduating and continuing pupils alike.
Ekohotblog reports that the royal gathering attracted key dignitaries, including members of the G10 NGO, prominent royal chiefs, the First Lady of Eredo LCDA Mrs Christiana Akinloye, Hon. Ismail Olabo, Hon. Saico, the Education Secretary of Epe Local Government, and representatives of the G10 Club.

In her address, Olori Arike Adebowale praised the teachers and parents for their dedication and celebrated the pupils for their resilience throughout the academic year.
“Education is the greatest legacy we can give our children. Let us continue to support them with love, guidance, and culture,” she said.
The First Lady of Eredo LCDA congratulated the graduating pupils and urged them to aim higher as they move into new academic phases.
“Go to secondary school and go and excel. And to those moving to another class, keep improving yourselves academically,” she said.
She added, “This is the beginning of your journey, stay focused, stay strong, and keep learning.”
Hon. Ismail Olabo, youth leaders Odomola Kingdom emphasized the importance of consistency and commitment in education.
“Take your studies seriously. Hard work is the key to success,” he advised.
He further encouraged the children to stay away from distractions and remain determined, saying, “You can become anything you dream of if you remain focused and disciplined.”
A representative of the G10 Club commended the teachers for nurturing the future generation and encouraged the pupils to believe in their abilities.
“Believe in yourselves, read your books, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Education opens doors to greatness,” the representative stated.
Speaking at the Hon.Shittu Idowu Saico, the Education Secretary, also motivated both pupils and staff.
“You are the future. To the teachers, keep nurturing these young minds, and to the graduates, go and make us proud,” he said.
He continued, “Let your education be your weapon. With it, you can conquer the world.”
The event was filled with joyful moments including cultural performances, royal blessings, and presentation of gifts to graduating pupils and Outstanding performances.
