In a colorful display of unity, energy, and cultural pride, youths across Epe Division gathered on Thursday to celebrate Youth Day 2025 as part of the ongoing Kayokayo Festival.
Ekohotblog reports that the event, organized under the banner of the Epe Youth Forum, was marked by a vibrant road rally, games, cultural displays, and various youth-centered engagements aimed at fostering togetherness and development among young people in the community.

The President of the Epe Youth Forum, Hon. Giwa Moore, expressed joy over the participation and commitment of the youth to preserving cultural heritage while promoting active civic involvement.
“We are proud to be part of Kayokayo Festival 2025. The youth of Epe are the torchbearers of our legacy.
This celebration is not just about fun, it’s about purpose, unity, and a call to action for youth development,” he said.
Also speaking, the Vice President of the Forum, Engr. Ahmed Gbajumo, emphasized the role of youth in shaping the future of the community, urging young people to continue upholding the values of leadership, responsibility, and cultural identity.
“The energy and talent we’ve witnessed today affirm that the future of Epe is bright. Let us stay focused and committed to building a progressive community,” he stated.
The Youth Day rally paraded major streets in Epe, drawing support from passersby, elders, and festival attendees.
The event concluded at the Kosoko Embankment Ground marina water front with inter-street games, music, and lots of Fun
