The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 32 individuals suspected of involvement in internet fraud in Bauchi State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the operation, carried out by EFCC operatives from the Gombe Zonal Directorate on Friday, July 25, 2025, targeted the Sabon Kaura and Gwalameji areas based on credible intelligence about fraudulent online activities.

The EFCC officially announced these arrests on its Facebook page on Monday. During the raid, a variety of items were recovered from the suspects.

These included numerous mobile phones (such as Samsung, iPhones, Infinix, and Redmi models), iPads, laptop computers, and gaming consoles like PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Additionally, a Peugeot 406 car, Neonx Auto bikes, a Maxi E50KWH generator, and even a pistol were seized.
The EFCC has stated that these suspects will face charges in court once their investigations are fully completed.
