In a heartbreaking incident that took place in Dandalama village, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, a 17-year-old boy, Lurwanu Suleiman, tragically loses his life after drowning in open water.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Kano State Fire Service confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Wednesday.

Kano Fire Service Preparing for Emergency
According to the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the fire service received an emergency call on Tuesday afternoon, prompting a swift response from the rescue team.
Unfortunately, Suleiman’s body was recovered lifeless from the water and handed over to the Ward Head of Dandalama village, Alhaji Safiyan Usman.
The cause of the tragic incident is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
