The Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) is set to commence the second edition of its Summer Coaching Programme for Senior Secondary School students in SS2 and SS3 across the council area.
Ekohotblog reports that spearheaded and fully sponsored by the Executive Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the initiative is designed to provide intensive academic support and revision for students preparing for their final secondary school examinations.

The programme will run from Monday, August 4th to Friday, September 5th, 2025, across four designated centers, operating daily from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Speaking on the importance of the initiative, the Executive Chairman said,
“Education remains one of the greatest tools we can give our children to secure a better future.
Through this coaching programme, we are not just preparing students for exams; we are investing in future leaders.”
The four designated coaching centres are:
L.G. Primary School, Agbowa-Ikosi
RCM Primary School, Itoikin
RCM Primary School, Ketu
Temu Community Junior High School
The subject timetable (10:00 am – 12:00 pm daily) is outlined as follows:
Monday: English Language / Mathematics
Tuesday: Biology / Economics
Wednesday: Physics / Commerce / Government
Thursday: Mathematics / English Language
Friday: Chemistry / Accounting / Literature-in-English
The Summer Coaching 2.0 programme underscores the administration’s commitment to education as a tool for empowerment and development.
By equipping students with foundational academic support, the council aims to improve performance in external exams and instill confidence in future leaders.
