The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has blacklisted popular Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, over an alleged airport security violation, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Speaking to TVC News, the NCAA’s Director of Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, confirmed that the musician has been barred from flying on all commercial airlines in Nigeria for six months.

The sanction comes after reports of his alleged unruly behavior, which was said to have disrupted airport procedures and interfered with normal boarding and departure operations.
In addition, the NCAA stated that the pilots connected to the incident have had their licenses suspended temporarily, pending the conclusion of a full investigation.
The authority emphasized the importance of maintaining order, safety, and strict adherence to aviation protocols at all times, irrespective of an individual’s fame or social position.
Addressing growing speculation on social media, Achimugu stressed that there are no special privileges for anyone in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
“The fact that he is a well-known figure or even close to the President does not exempt him from the law,” he said. “President Bola Tinubu himself is a respecter of the law and would not condone any act that undermines public safety or the regulatory authority of the NCAA.”
He refuted claims suggesting that the musician might avoid penalties because of his perceived relationship with the presidency.
The NCAA reiterated that it remains fully committed to its zero-tolerance policy regarding passenger misconduct and professional negligence, sending a clear message to both the public and stakeholders in the aviation sector.
The agency reaffirmed its resolve to ensure that Nigeria’s airspace remains secure, properly regulated, and governed by laws that apply equally to everyone.
