Another petrol tanker explosion has occurred at NUSHE Filling Station in Marke town, Kaugama Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that a resident said the tanker caught fire while offloading fuel at the station on Saturday around 8 p.m., sparking panic among residents and road users.

Jigawa State Police Command spokesman, SP Lawan Shisu Adam, confirmed the incident. He said police officers and firefighters, with help from residents, worked to contain the fire and stop it from spreading to nearby homes and businesses.
According to him, no casualties or injuries were recorded.

In a similar incident on October 17, 2024, a petrol tanker explosion in Majia town, Taura Local Government Area of Jigawa State, claimed 153 lives.
