Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), has expressed confidence that he will win the 2026 Osun State APC governorship primary, regardless of the method used.
Eko Ho Blog reports that the governorship aspirant has been on a statewide tour, meeting with party leaders and members across 16 local government areas to build support. During his visits, he stated that his “AMBO movement” is gaining strong momentum.

According to Oyebamiji, party members have assured him of their support because they believe he has the right qualities to lead the state effectively.
Oyebamiji promised to implement developmental projects that will benefit all citizens of Osun State. He also used the opportunity to encourage party members to mobilize people to register to vote in the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by INEC.
