The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has announced plans to hold a special prayer session dedicated to unmarried youths, waiting mothers, and their families.
Eko Hot Blog reports that, according to a statement released in Lagos on Thursday by Pastor Oladele Balogun, Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Administration), the prayer session was inspired by divine direction and will focus on singles, mature singles, and families believing God for the fruit of the womb.

Adeboye noted that recent population data in Nigeria indicate that singles, including mature singles, constitute over 40 percent of the adult population — a growing group seeking marital fulfillment.
He also highlighted the millions of waiting and expectant mothers around the world who are trusting God for children, describing their experience as a deeply spiritual and emotional journey.

“With the Redeemed Christian Church of God established in more than 190 nations, these groups form a vital part of our global community of faith, hope, and prayer,” Adeboye said.
The special prayer will take place during the November 2025 Thanksgiving Service, scheduled for Sunday, November 2, at 8:00 a.m., at The Throne of Grace, RCCG National Headquarters, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.
He invited participants from across the world to join the program and urged those living near Lagos to attend the service in person for what he described as a “life-transforming encounter with God.”
