On Thursday, businessman Oga Uby announced that he had replaced the phone damaged during the incident with a new iPhone 16 Pro Max and signed her to a four year brand ambassador contract with Tubex Logistics Services.
“I have donated an iPhone 16 Pro Max to the Ibom passenger, Comfort Emmanson, to replace the phone that was damaged during the altercation with Ibom Air,” Uby said. “I also endorsed her for a four year contract with our company as our brand ambassador.”
Earlier in the week, Ossai Ovie Success, Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, offered Emmanson a job in Delta State with a monthly salary of ₦500,000, along with an all expenses paid trip to attend the Delta Social Media Summit in Asaba on August 28.

“All expenses, including flight tickets, five star hotel accommodation, and tour costs, will be fully covered,” Ossai said. “This is to help her relax after her release from prison.”
Another offer came from Abuja based real estate developer Emmanuel Chukwudi Nwafor, who pledged to give Emmanson a plot of land in Katampe Extension, Federal Capital Territory.
“She’s free to choose whichever plot size she wants and can build immediately,” Nwafor wrote. “This is to compensate her for how she was badly treated by Ibom Air.”
In a separate gesture, billionaire businessman Francis Van Lare also promised to sponsor her on trips to Qatar and Turkey.
Emmanson’s case, which began with a confrontation onboard an Ibom Air flight, has shifted from public controversy to a wave of financial and material support from individuals across the country.
