Recent data shows that Nasarawa State is ranking low in the INEC CVR process. The governor encouraged APC leaders and members to go into their communities to sensitize residents to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, also urged residents to take part in the process to increase the state’s voter population.
In a significant political development, the APC State Chairman, Aliyu Bello, announced that the party’s leadership has unanimously agreed to support whoever Governor Sule chooses as his successor in the 2027 governorship election, regardless of their senatorial zone.
