The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has commissioned a new perimeter fence and dining spot at UPE Primary School, Imokun, as part of his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and learning conditions in public schools.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the commissioning took place during the ongoing distribution of 80,000 exercise books across the 19 public primary schools in the council.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Akinloye explained that the projects were designed to enhance the security and welfare of pupils.

“The perimeter fence will provide safety for the children, while the dining spot creates a comfortable space where pupils can eat and relax in a conducive environment,” he said.
In addition, the chairman announced a cash support package for the cleaning and weeding of the school compound, aimed at encouraging hygiene and a neat learning atmosphere.
He added, “We must continue to keep our schools safe, clean, and child-friendly because these pupils are the leaders of tomorrow.”
Community leader who represented the Baale of Imokun, praised the chairman’s gesture. “The fence alone gives us peace of mind because the safety of the children is important.
The dining spot will also make break periods more organized. This is a sign of true leadership that responds to community needs,” he said.
