- Residents to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs)
- Leaders and appointees to remain committed to grassroots service
- Work hand-in-hand with politicians to deliver victory for APC
The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, has expressed absolute confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) will face little resistance at the 2027 polls, describing the election as a “walkover waiting to happen.”
Eko Hot Blog reports that Obasa made the declaration during the official launch of “Tinubu 2027” at the Local Government Playing Ground in Ojokoro LCDA.

The event, which took on a carnival-like atmosphere, was attended by political leaders, traditional rulers, community heads, and hundreds of residents who pledged unwavering support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Obasa commended the people of Ojokoro for leading the charge in mobilizing grassroots backing for Tinubu.

He, however, urged them to back their words with action by encouraging residents to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs). According to him, the strength of APC lies not only in numbers but also in a united and disciplined front.
“The President is doing wonderfully well. Within two years his achievements are unprecedented, and we can only imagine how much more he will deliver before 2027.
Let’s play our parts by being closer to our people. If we do this, the election will be a walkover for APC and President Bola Tinubu,” Obasa told the crowd.
Also speaking, Hon. Emmanuel Olotu, coordinator of the event and lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency II, explained that the initiative was meant to reaffirm Tinubu’s dominance in Ojokoro LCDA.
He stressed that Tinubu’s strides in fixing the economy and repositioning Nigeria since assuming office in 2023 deserve another term.
Traditional rulers, including the Olorile of Agbado, Oba Williams Adeshoga, threw their weight behind the cause, assuring that community leaders and Baales across Ojokoro would work hand-in-hand with politicians to deliver victory for APC.
Cultural leaders such as the head of the Hausa community, Balarabe Musa, and the Eze-Audi of Ndigbo in Ojokoro, equally mobilized their members in hundreds, pledging loyalty to Tinubu’s vision.
The rally ended with renewed calls for unity among APC members, as Obasa reminded leaders and appointees to remain committed to grassroots service.
With the structures already in place, stakeholders at the event declared that APC’s hold on Lagos and by extension Nigeria would remain unshaken in 2027.
