The Coronation Organising Committee for the installation of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has announced traffic diversions in the Oyo State capital ahead of the ceremony scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at Mapo Hall.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a traffic advisory issued on Tuesday, the security sub-committee, under the chairmanship of former CCII President, Chief Bayo Oyero, said the diversions were necessary due to the expected attendance of President Bola Tinubu.

According to the advisory, the following routes will be closed from 7:00 a.m. on Friday:
Beere Junction inward Mapo Hall
Born Photo Junction inward Oja’ba
Idi-Arere Junction inward Oja’ba
Itamerin Junction inward Mapo Hall

To ease the movement of invited guests, three official parking areas have been designated: the Ibadan North Local Government car park in front of the Immigration Office at Agodi, the football field beside Yemetu Police Station, and Liberty Stadium, Oke Ado.
Shuttle buses will operate from the designated car parks to Mapo Hall for guests with valid invitation cards.
Food vendors and traders were advised to arrive between 6:00 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. before the road closures take effect.
The committee added that only the convoys of President Tinubu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde will be granted access to the restricted routes leading directly to Mapo Hall.
