Tomorrow will mark a major milestone for education in Eredo LCDA as the council prepares to commission three newly completed blocks of six classrooms each in different communities.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the projects, located at Odomola Secondary School, St. Joseph RCM Primary School, Ibonwon, and UPE Primary School, Odogbawojo, are part of the administration’s ongoing drive to expand access to quality education and provide a conducive environment for learning.
Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, described the projects as a direct investment in the future of the council’s children.
“This is not just about building classrooms; it is about securing the future of our children and giving them the tools to thrive,” he said ahead of the commissioning.

The Odomola project carries an added significance, as it marks Hon. Akinloye’s return to his alma mater, 31 years after leaving the school as a student.
“Returning to Odomola to contribute in this way is personal for me. It shows how education transforms lives, and I want to give the next generation better opportunities than we had,” he added.
Parents, teachers, and community leaders have welcomed the development, commending the council for easing overcrowding in schools and prioritizing education as the foundation for growth.
