EKO HOT BLOG reports that Actor Tom Holland has reassured fans that he is recovering well after sustaining a mild concussion on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Glasgow, Scotland.
The 29-year-old, who is reprising his role as Peter Parker for the fourth installment of the blockbuster franchise, offered an update through Instagram on September 27.
Holland explained that the injury briefly forced him to step away from filming, but he is now “on the mend.” He also reflected on a recent fundraiser hosted by his charity, The Brothers Trust, in London, noting that his father had to take over after his early departure.
“I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier,” he wrote, alongside a highlight reel from the event.
Despite the setback, Holland remains thrilled about returning to the Spider-Man role, especially with Stranger Things star Sadie Sink and The Bear’s Liza Colón-Zayas joining the cast.
Holland also admitted that wearing the iconic suit feels different this time. In a behind-the-scenes clip shared by the film’s official Instagram, he described the energy of having fans on set from day one as “really exciting.”
“We’ve got some familiar faces on set. I’m just going to do my best, hopefully get it right — no pressure,” he added.
