Nollywood filmmaker and actress, Funke Akindele, has addressed a social media troll who mocked her choice of using the popular “yellow and black” nylon bag to pack food.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the troll, via Snapchat, attempted to ridicule the actress, saying: “Aunty Funke you are not posh at all. Why yellow and black nylon?”

In her response, Akindele fired back with a touch of sarcasm, suggesting the critic could buy her more “posh” bags if it bothered them so much.
“Oh, maybe I should start shopping for plastic bags at Macy’s or Nordstrom. Elenu shipoti, you can come and buy nylon for me. I already blocked you. Consider it a privilege that you could even view my snap.
At least you can see I’m elderly, even if not old enough to be your mum. Wide mouth,” she replied.
Her clapback quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions online. While some praised Akindele for firmly putting the troll in check, others admired her humility, noting that being a celebrity does not exempt her from using everyday items.
