Afrobeats star and businessman, Oluwatosin Ajibade, widely known as Mr Eazi, has declared his intention to run for the presidency in an African country.
The singer made the announcement in a video where he revealed that after much reflection, he now feels ready to step into public service.
According to him, his ambition is inspired by a genuine desire to make a difference rather than to seek wealth or power.
In the video, Mr Eazi said, “I have been thinking about it, and I believe it’s time to share it with you all. Some of you may be from countries in Africa that need a president who is not after money or power, but one who is young, forward-thinking, and capable of driving progress.
So, I am officially putting myself forward for the presidency.”
