The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, has commissioned three major community projects and twelve motorized boreholes for residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin and Eredo LCDAs in Epe Division.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the projects include a renovated and equipped Ado-Ikosi Primary Health Centre in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, a newly constructed and fully equipped Primary Health Centre at Kula Nla, Odomola (Eredo LCDA), and a fully furnished block of classrooms at RCM Primary School, Ejinrin.
Speaking through his representatives — Mr. Dele Abiru, his Special Assistant, and Hon. Olusegun Olulade (Eleniyan), Executive Director of Marketing and Customer Centricity, Galaxy Backbone Limited — the Senator assured residents of his continued commitment to their welfare.

“At Ado-Ikosi and Kula-Nla, residents now have better access to quality healthcare, while at Ejinrin, pupils can learn in a more conducive environment,” Senator Abiru stated.
The projects were formally commissioned by the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, and the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye.
Both Chairmen commended the Senator’s leadership.
“Today’s project is yet another testament to his developmental philosophy — ‘the greater good for the greater number’ — that governance must translate into real and measurable progress in the lives of the majority of the people.
On behalf of the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin, we extend profound gratitude and reaffirm our continued partnership for greater progress,” Hon. Anomo said.
He added: “Senator Abiru’s representation continues to reflect excellence, compassion, and foresight.
From the facilitation of classrooms at Itoikin to the provision of solar-powered boreholes and social empowerment initiatives, our communities have consistently felt the impact of his leadership.”
At RCM Primary School, Ejinrin, pupils and teachers celebrated the new classrooms, describing the development as a “dream come true” that would significantly improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Similarly, the Education Secretary of the Epe Local Government Education Authority, Hon. Shittu Aliu Idowu, conveyed the goodwill message of LASUBEB Chairman, Dr. Hakeem Shittu, praising Senator Abiru for his contributions to the education sector in Lagos East.
At the newly built Kula Nla Primary Health Centre in Odomola, residents expressed joy and relief over the project, describing it as timely and life-saving.
The Omola of Odomola Kingdom, HRM Oba Sulaimon Adebowale, also expressed gratitude to Senator Abiru for the initiative, which he described as a major step towards improved healthcare delivery in his community.
Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Chairman of Eredo LCDA, applauded Senator Abiru’s exceptional leadership style.
“His leadership ensures that every local government under his watch feels the touch of his representation. We are proud to have such a visionary leader in Lagos East,” he remarked.
Since his election into the Senate, Senator Abiru has facilitated numerous developmental projects across Lagos East, including educational infrastructure, healthcare centres, sports facilities, and empowerment programmes for youths and women.
His Doing Good mantra, built on inclusive development, continues to resonate with his constituents.
