President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Vice President Namadi Sambo on his investiture as the Sardaunan Zazzau, describing the honour as a testament to his leadership, integrity, and contribution to national development.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the investiture ceremony was performed on Saturday by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, in Zaria, Kaduna State.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu said the title of Sardaunan Zazzau, a position of deep cultural and historical relevance in Northern Nigeria, represents the Emirate’s confidence in Sambo’s wisdom, statesmanship, and commitment to societal progress.
The President commended the former Vice President’s humility, service to humanity, and dedication to national unity, noting that the title further underscores his enduring legacy of selfless leadership.

Tinubu also praised the Emir of Zazzau for preserving the tradition of honouring individuals whose lives exemplify integrity, patriotism, and community service.
While wishing Sambo success in his new traditional role, President Tinubu urged him to continue to mentor younger generations and collaborate with other traditional and community leaders to promote peace and development across the country.
