On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the National Executives of the Federation of Epe Division Students’ Association (FEDSA), alongside other youth delegates, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, who also serves as the Chairman of Conference 57 — the body of Local Government Chairmen in Lagos State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the visit was to congratulate and appreciate Hon. Olowa for his unwavering commitment to student development, educational support, and youth empowerment across the Epe Division.
The delegation also reaffirmed FEDSA’s support for his administration, acknowledging his impactful leadership and continuous investment in young people.

In his remarks, Hon. Olowa reiterated his administration’s dedication to education, innovation, and empowerment, assuring that no youth will be left behind under his SHIEELD Agenda.
He said, “Education remains the foundation of development, and our administration will continue to invest in our youths through both academic and vocational opportunities.”
He further encouraged young people to embrace vocational and technical education, describing them as crucial pathways to self-reliance and economic advancement.
“Vocational and technical skills are not alternatives but essential complements to formal education. They empower our youths to become creators of wealth and solution providers in society,” he added.
The visiting delegation included notable youth leaders such as Comr. Ogunbawo Ibraheem (State Treasurer, NYCN Lagos), Comr. Mohammed Atiku (Deputy Coordinator, NYCN Ibeju-Lekki), Comr. Adelaja Azanat (PRO, NYCN Ibeju-Lekki),
Comr. Adesanya Ibrahim (President, FEDSA), Comr. Odubote Hadizah (President, NAILS), Amb. Abdulrazaq Lateef (Lagos Youth Ambassador), Comr. Badejo Mariam (Secretary, FESA), Comr. Asorobi Kazeem (Social Director, FEDSA), and Comr. Jimoh Fatimah (Vice President, FEDSA), among others.
The meeting ended on a cordial note, with both parties expressing mutual appreciation and a shared commitment to strengthen collaboration in advancing youth empowerment, educational development, and community growth across Ibeju-Lekki and the wider Epe Division.
