Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, led by the Executive Chairman, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has announced that the official briefing and induction for participants of the One-Month Intensive Skill Acquisition Programme will hold on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. prompt.
Eko Hot Blog reports that all registered participants are expected to attend the induction, which will take place simultaneously at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Multipurpose Hall (Ikosi District) and Ketu-Ereyun Community Town Hall (Ejinrin District).

The session will feature a general orientation and detailed information about the training exercise.

With the theme “Empowering Minds, Building Sustainable Livelihoods,” the initiative aims to provide participants with hands-on training in Hairdressing, Fashion Design, Catering, Make-over & Gele Tying, Barbing, and Soap Making.
The programme underscores the Chairman’s firm commitment to equipping residents,especially youths and women,with skills that promote self-reliance, financial independence, and long-term economic growth.
Speaking ahead of the programme, Hon. Anomo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to human capital development.
He said, “Our goal is to create opportunities that will empower our people to become self-sufficient and contribute meaningfully to society.”
He further encouraged participants to take full advantage of the opportunity, describing the training as “a stepping stone to financial stability and a brighter future.”
