Her posts, including one on Facebook, linked the Senate President to multiple killings in the state during his tenure as governor and currently as a Senator.

The royal body, with signatories including HRM Obong Cosmas Okon Akpan, determined that the prolonged nature of the dispute on social media necessitates intervention according to Annang tradition.
The monarchs issued the ultimatum for the couple to appear for “clarification and possible cleansing in accordance with Annang traditional norms and culture.” They warned explicitly that “Failure to do so will attract drastic punitive sanctions.”

The Afe Nkuku Annang exonerated Senator Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno from all baseless and unfounded accusations.
