EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Lagos president of the group, Sunday Udeh, made the declaration during a reconciliation meeting convened by Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement. The event, held in Lagos, focused on strengthening harmony between Yoruba and Igbo residents following recent demolitions and ethnic tensions in the state.
Speaking with journalists, Udeh said, “We are not in doubt of his victory in 2027. We know our party, the All Progressives Congress, will win again.” He called on both ethnic groups to promote peace and mutual respect, warning against actions capable of deepening division in the state.
Udeh also urged the Lagos State Government to sustain dialogue with the Igbo community and other ethnic groups to promote inclusiveness and understanding. He acknowledged that the 2023 general elections strained relations between Igbos and the state administration but expressed optimism that continuous engagement would rebuild mutual trust.
“2027 is close. We know our party will take it. I am a member and will work for the party,” he added.
Similarly, the National President of the Market Leaders Association of Nigeria (TMLAN), Charles Obih, reaffirmed the support of the Igbo business community for Tinubu’s re-election, commending the President’s leadership and efforts to stabilise the economy despite daunting challenges.

Obih said, “We will mobilize our members to ensure President Tinubu’s re-election is smooth and successful by the grace of God.”
