Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko has once again come under public scrutiny following serious allegations made by her elder brother, Lawrence Daniels, on Instagram Monday night.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that in a series of posts, Lawrence accused the Delta North lawmaker of domestic violence and hypocrisy, claiming Nwoko confessed to slapping Regina “twice” under the pretext of correcting her.

“You told me yourself that you slapped her twice, saying it’s normal for a husband to correct his wife, yet you went on TV to deny ever hitting a woman,” Lawrence wrote.
He further alleged that Nwoko orchestrated the arrest of their brother, Sammy Daniels, who is reportedly being held at Ogombo Police Station in Lekki-Ajah.
“If anything happens to my siblings, hold Ned Nwoko responsible,” he warned, accusing the senator of using his influence to intimidate and silence the family.
Lawrence described himself as a “preacher of peace” but said he could no longer stay quiet. He also warned that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) might protest against the senator if the matter continues.
The allegations have triggered massive social media outrage, with many demanding an independent investigation.
Efforts to reach the police for confirmation were unsuccessful, and Nwoko has yet to respond officially.
