The Epe Division has taken a significant step in advancing grassroots sports development as the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the APC Lagos State Chairman’s Cup formally held its inauguration meeting, led by the Mayoress of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the session marked the official swearing-in of all committee members, who pledged to uphold integrity, transparency, and dedication while discharging their duties.

The LOC also reviewed its terms of reference, ensuring clarity of roles and strategic alignment ahead of the highly anticipated football tournament.
In her remarks, Mayoress Animashaun emphasized the importance of unity and purposeful leadership in driving youth engagement and community progress through sports.
“We are committed to empowering our young talents and fostering unity across our communities,” she said. “This tournament is more than a sporting event; it is a platform that strengthens our party’s values and builds a vibrant future for Epe Division.”

LOC Chairman Osinaike Olusegun Olawale expressed appreciation for the trust placed in the committee and assured of a successful tournament.
“We will deliver a well-organized and impactful competition that reflects excellence and fairness,” he stated. “Our team is fully prepared to uphold the progressive ideals of the APC and showcase the strengths of Epe Division.”
Committee members echoed similar sentiments, reaffirming readiness to collaborate and promote the division’s development agenda through sports.
