The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to order security chiefs to eliminate terrorists and their sponsors, regardless of their influence or status.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Adeboye made the call during the November Holy Ghost Service at the Redemption City on Friday, November 7, 2025, where he addressed what he described as his “children.”

Expressing deep concern over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity, Adeboye lamented that the country, once known for peace and religious tolerance, has become plagued by violence and fear.
He said: “What should we do? I would say to the government, move fast, diplomatically and wisely. Find a way to convince the president of America to delay his actions for about a hundred days and then come home and tell our security chiefs to get rid of the terrorists within 90 days or resign.”
Adeboye also advised that any security chief unable to meet the target should voluntarily step down, adding that Nigeria could no longer afford to treat insecurity with levity.
