The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Momson Owolabi Saheed (Mabudeje Aduloju II), and the entire Agbowa-Ikosi community on the occasion of the 2025 Agbowa Day Celebration.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the council boss, in his goodwill message, described Agbowa-Ikosi as the “heartbeat of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA,” noting that the town plays a pivotal role in the collective growth and development of the area.
According to him, the celebration represents a significant reminder of the town’s unity, heritage, and progressive values.
“Agbowa-Ikosi holds a place of honour in our collective journey of growth and development,” Anomo said. “This annual celebration not only showcases the town’s rich cultural heritage and unbroken lineage of leadership, but also reflects the unity, resilience, and progressive spirit that define the Agbowa people.”

He further emphasized the importance of preserving the legacies of the forefathers while building a future of prosperity for generations to come.
“The celebration is a reminder of our shared responsibility to preserve the legacies of our forebears while building a prosperous future for generations to come,” he added.
“Indeed, the spirit of Agbowa-Ikosi continues to inspire excellence across our LCDA and beyond.”
The chairman congratulated Oba Momson and the entire Agbowa community, praying for peace and development in the kingdom.
