The Federal Road Safety Corps has ordered the prosecution of popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, following a car crash that recently went viral on social media.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday afternoon, was reportedly linked to a personal dispute between the content creator and his girlfriend, Jarvis, who is also a social media personality.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a video showing the aftermath of the crash quickly circulated online, sparking widespread public outrage. Many Nigerians criticised the conduct displayed in the footage and called for strict sanctions, including the suspension or withdrawal of the influencer’s driver’s licence.
In response to the growing backlash, the FRSC issued a statement on Monday, December 15, 2025, through its official social media platforms.
The road safety agency directed its Lagos State Command to commence legal action against Peller over the incident.
According to the FRSC, the TikTok personality is to be charged for reckless driving, driving without due care and attention, and using a mobile phone while driving, offences which contravene existing traffic laws.
The Corps Marshal, Shehu Muhammed, also used the development to issue a broader warning to stakeholders within the entertainment industry.
He called on bodies such as the Actors Guild of Nigeria, content creators associations and other entertainment groups to properly educate and guide their members, especially on responsible behaviour while using public roads.
The FRSC stressed that fame or social media popularity does not place any individual above the law, warning that actions capable of endangering lives would attract appropriate legal consequences regardless of status.
The agency reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing traffic regulations and promoting road safety across the country, urging motorists to remain cautious and law abiding at all times.
