No fewer than 4 children lost their lives on Tuesday evening in a fatal road accident along Afia Road, Baa Stream, near Saaor Village in Benue State.
Eko Hot Blog reports that eyewitnesses said the crash was severe, with the children reportedly dying on the spot, while several other occupants of the vehicle sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The injured victims were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
Residents in the area disclosed that the vehicle involved plunged into the stream and remained submerged as of the time this report was filed.
The exact cause of the accident has yet to be officially determined, as relevant authorities were still investigating the incident at press time.
