Prominent Nollywood actors and actresses came together on Thursday in Lagos to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Allwell Ademola, the talented actress and film producer who passed away on December 27 following a heart attack.

The event attracted a large gathering of Nollywood heavyweights, including Odunlade Adekola, Saheed Balogun, Iyabo Ojo, Fausat Balogun, Eniola Ajao, and Fathia Balogun.

Colleagues were seen wearing customized white T-shirts bearing Ademola’s portrait, a symbolic gesture of respect and solidarity.
The gathering also featured the “wrap prayer” segment, where close friends and collaborators offered heartfelt tributes.
Rotimi Salami, widely regarded as one of Ademola’s closest friends in the industry, delivered an emotional message, urging forgiveness for any grievances and emphasizing the importance of preserving her legacy. “If there’s anyone Allwell has offended, directly or indirectly, please forgive her and keep praying for her.
The only way to honour her is to keep her contributions alive in unity,” Salami said, visibly emotional during his address.

The memorial service included moments of reflection, music, and prayers, creating a space for colleagues to share memories and celebrate the late actress’s achievements.
The programme is set to continue with a candlelight procession, an artistes’ night, and closing remarks later in the evening.
