Residents of Ayetoro community in Epe were thrown into shock on Tuesday following the arrest of a teenage boy over an alleged attempt to kidnap a child for ritual purposes.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the suspect, said to be about 16 years old, was apprehended by vigilant community members after he allegedly attempted to abduct a young child within the neighbourhood.
The boy, identified by residents as Abiodun, is reportedly the son of Mr. Ajipowo Abore of the Erepoto area of Ayetoro, Epe.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that the teenager’s movements aroused suspicion, prompting residents to intervene swiftly.
