EKO HOT BLOG reports that the visit comes as authorities pursue allegations of forgery linked to a property dispute in the United Kingdom.
In images posted on his 𝕏 handle, Ozekhome stood beside Obasanjo, who wore a blue traditional outfit with a matching cap. Ozekhome was dressed in a cream-coloured native attire.
He captioned the post, “Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN, CON, OFR, cooling off with former president Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, PhD, tonight. God is awesome indeed.”
Meanwhile, fresh evidence has emerged indicating that a key document Ozekhome presented before a London tribunal to support his ownership claim of a North London property was fraudulent.
The development has prompted criminal charges against the senior advocate in Nigeria.
Although the British court admitted the document at the time due to a lack of opposing evidence, the issuing authority in Nigeria has since declared it invalid.
According to Premium Times, the Nigerian Immigration Service confirmed that the Nigerian passport used as evidence in the dispute was never legitimately issued.

In a letter addressed to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, the NIS stated that passport booklet number A07535463, which was presented in support of Ozekhome’s claim, was defective, reported stolen, and never personalised.
