The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State said the outcome of Saturday’s by elections across parts of the country reflected public endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the ruling party’s governance agenda.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement issued on Sunday, the Lagos APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, said the results showed growing confidence in the party’s direction, particularly the Renewed Hope Agenda being pursued at the federal level.

“The outcome of these by-elections represents a clear and democratic referendum on the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and the policy direction of our great party,” Oladejo said.
He thanked voters in Rivers State, Kano State, the Federal Capital Territory and other areas where the polls were held, describing their participation as a demonstration of faith in the APC’s reform driven agenda.
The party said the victories recorded by its candidates signalled public trust in ongoing economic reforms, infrastructure development and institutional strengthening initiatives being implemented by the Tinubu administration.
“The resounding victories recorded by our candidates reaffirm the confidence of the electorate in the Renewed Hope Agenda and the transformative policies being implemented at both federal and state levels,” the statement added.
The Lagos APC argued that the by election results amounted to a rejection of opposition parties, accusing them of relying on rhetoric and social media activism instead of offering practical policy alternatives.
“These results send a strong message that governance is not driven by social media popularity or online noise, but by tangible performance and the ability to deliver on promises,” Oladejo stated.
The party dismissed claims that digital influence alone could determine electoral outcomes, insisting that electoral victories were shaped by grassroots mobilisation and voter confidence.
It said the outcome of the by elections could signal strong prospects for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“The momentum demonstrated in these by-elections is not accidental; it is a reflection of trust earned through decisive leadership, courageous reforms, and a commitment to national development,” the spokesperson said.
The party commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for what it described as the credible conduct of the elections and praised security agencies for maintaining peace during the exercise.
It also acknowledged party leaders, campaign teams and volunteers for their mobilisation efforts.

Reaffirming its support for President Tinubu, the Lagos APC urged Nigerians, including members of opposition parties, to put aside partisan differences and work collectively towards building a united and prosperous nation.
