Mrs. Kehinde Iyade, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Issa Maruf Olayinka.
During the meeting, Mrs. Olanrewaju expressed gratitude for the continued support provided by the Local Government, highlighting the bureau’s achievements in resolving numerous disputes amicably.
She also appealed for increased backing to expand the center’s outreach and raise public awareness of the free mediation services available to residents.
In response, Mr. Olayinka praised the Lagos State Government and CMB for promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), noting that the mediation center has helped reduce court backlogs and foster peace in communities.
He assured that the Executive Chairman would consider all requests and take steps to strengthen the mediation center’s impact in Ibeju-Lekki.
The meeting emphasized Lagos State’s commitment to providing accessible, timely, and cost-free justice through mediation, which preserves relationships and prevents civil disputes from escalating into litigation.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Sotubo Adeyemi (Admin & HR Officer), Mr. Lanre Tobun, Mr. Adewale Adejumo (JP), and State Counsels Barr. Busayo Adetunji, Barr. Ewaoluwa Kilanko, and Barr. Kayode Odunayo.
