Troops of the Nigerian Army have reportedly repelled an attempted attack on Dansabau community in Katsina State, neutralising some bandits in the process.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the development was disclosed in a post shared on X on Saturday by security analyst Bakatsine.

According to the post, the operation followed credible intelligence indicating that armed men were advancing toward the community with plans to launch an attack.

“Acting swiftly, the soldiers intercepted the group near Koramar Goga village, where a brief gun battle forced the bandits to abandon their mission,” Bakatsine wrote.
He added that the engagement underscores the growing reliance on intelligence-driven operations in counter-banditry efforts across the country.
