The Kremlin said on Tuesday that Donald Trump did not request a ceasefire in Ukraine during his recent phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made the clarification during a press briefing in Moscow, noting that no new date was fixed for further discussions involving Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, Eko Hot Blog reports.

Peskov said Moscow appreciates Washington’s efforts to mediate in the conflict and remains open to continuing dialogue aimed at resolving the crisis.
According to him, Putin views the United States’ involvement in facilitating negotiations positively and is grateful for the role it has played so far.
