A large gathering of Muslim faithful from across Epe community came together in unity and devotion to observe the Eid Mubarak prayer at the Oke Balogun Eid Ground, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the solemn yet celebratory prayer session was led by Fadeelat Sheikh Sadalla Abiola Abdulrahman, who serves as the Grand Chief Imam of Epe Division and President-General, League of Imams and Alfas, Epe Division.

Delivering his sermon, the respected Islamic cleric called on worshippers to uphold the virtues of discipline, sacrifice, and compassion imbibed during Ramadan, urging them to sustain these values in their daily lives.
“Eid is not just a celebration; it is a reminder of our duty to live righteously, show kindness to one another, and remain steadfast in faith,” he said.
He further offered heartfelt prayers for the peace, unity, and development of Epe community and the nation at large.
“We pray for prosperity in our land, peace in our communities, and long life for all to witness many more years in good health and happiness,” he added.
The event witnessed the presence of key traditional and community leaders, including the Prime Minister of the Epe Kingdom,
members of the Olu-Epe-in-Council, and other prominent stakeholders, whose attendance underscored the importance of the occasion within the community.
Their participation highlighted the strong bond between religious observance and traditional leadership in fostering harmony and collective progress in Epe.
Worshippers, dressed in colorful festive attire, exchanged greetings and goodwill messages, reflecting the spirit of love, unity, and gratitude that defines Eid celebrations.
Many expressed appreciation for witnessing another Eid and prayed for continued blessings and stability.
