One source explained that the talks will centre on enforcing compliance with the agreement, particularly the unresolved aspects of its initial phase.

Hamas is expected to call for an end to hostilities, the withdrawal of Israeli military positions from the enclave, the reopening of crossings, and improved access for civilians and humanitarian supplies.
The group is also anticipated to advocate for a civilian-led governing structure in Gaza, made up of Palestinian professionals, an idea said to have backing from the United States.
In addition to meeting Egyptian mediators, the delegation plans to consult with other Palestinian groups in Cairo to align positions on the ongoing situation.
Violence has persisted despite the ceasefire. Local emergency services in Gaza reported that air raids on Saturday left seven people dead in the northern part of the territory.
The Israeli military stated that it had targeted an armed group operating near a dividing line that separates zones of control within Gaza.

Health officials in Gaza say hundreds of Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire took effect, figures the United Nations regards as credible. Israel, on its part, has reported casualties among its troops during the same period.
The current stage of the ceasefire framework, associated with efforts led during the administration of Donald Trump, includes proposals for disarmament by Hamas and a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces, along with the possible deployment of an international stabilisation force.
Discussions on how to implement these measures are still ongoing.
